Northerner Maybe split it up, some go into the arena only, some don't. Perhaps the hardest ones in the arena. This might be unfair for the players to see their designs come less often as others, so maybe the idea isn't so good.
If I need to choose between your two options, I would follow your own opinion. It indeed would have some charm to have them in the arena only.
Northerner I think it'd be cool to have player submitted ships in BH mode, and have the modded ships in the arena as they're probably the most powerful. You're the mod creator though so you should fallow you're own gutt.

Since I have pretty good selection of splitter ships in the mod now I will now be testing them like I do other ships. Most of the splitter ships in the mod now would have passed normal testing so its not like it is not possible.

Cosmic_Horror A lot of them would be better without the clumped reactors. I would test out each compartment individually to make sure they are scraping the barrel when it comes to crew, energy, and ammo use.
ImNotLaffng I think the ships will do well enough, they're not completely min-maxed. I think it's okay if a module pops all at once, I do agree with you on the tier 8 ships though, their reactors could use better spacing.

Even though your reactors were clumped together, survivability, was not really an issue.

I have been doing some thinking and I've come to the conclusion that tier 11 has way to much price gap so in the next update tier 11 will be split in half so the price range will be 5 to 75 and tier 12 will be 75 to 10
Half tempted to fix up some of my ships made in Bounty Hunter and submit them.

As a side note you are missing doors on your railgun so it wasn't staying powered. I fixed that for the tests but the result was the same.
