JPS-205 I assume you mean electro-bolters? Better try word-to-word translation instead of translating entire sentences. Otherwise it might lead to misunderstandings.

Alpha You did take a look at his previous attempts, didn't you? He seemingly lacks the experience to beat something with more efficiency than the ingame ships. Your Plainswalker should be fine, but the Dauntless packs quite a punch and would likely cripple most of his builds with it's alpha strike.

Alpha Actually practice is better than theory, this alpha challenge made me
with me to remodel my entire ship.

Alpha one thing I realized is that your ship somehow managed to exceed the maximum size limit of construction, how did it do that?

CursedPh4nt0m i don't mind at all, a lot of the premise behind Galaxy in Flames is to help people get better at the game and prepare them for MP. So I try to encourage this sort of behavior

JPS-205 I used the huge ships mod, which comes with the game. Open your mods tab and activate it for a larger building grid.

Northerner I was referring to the amount of postes dedicated to improve his buildings. You see people giving tips on the submitted ships all the time, I simply felt like we were overdoing it in this particular case.
Oh, and I'm currently working on a bunch of lower-tier submissions, probably gonna post them tomorrow.

Northerner As promised yesterday, I did some work for the lower tiers. I didn't name them yet, but I will think of something once they've (hopefully) passed.

In my battles against Dauntless, I realized some things on my ship that could be improved, so I created Heavenly-Fort 2.0

in Imgur, I posted 2 photos of my ship, the first without the FTL and the second with the FTL

JPS-205 Dude, that's over 2000 crew. 😄 According to the ship builder that's almost twice the optimal amount your ship needs.

When your ship is in combat, take a look what crew is actually doing something. You can see tons of crew doing nothing. They are a waste of money, remove them and buy more useful stuff instead.

Tomorrow I'm going to start a thread to help people get better at building, using a more practical method. This works better for some people. So, let me already invite you to join this "building class". 🙂

Lukz2cool Completely optional, but I don't think you need much more teaching. The only things I would alter is making the engine rooms touch more engines, or perhaps just add a tiny bit more thrust. Your missile modules could also use some extra crew. It's incredible to see how quickly you've improved!
