Alpha Thank you 😄, however I now know to spend many hours testing and refining a design before submission, as I've learnt that building ships in this game comes down to a fine art. I still need to find the best and most efficient way to build specific modules however. Also I thought the missiles were lacking a tad bit of crew, the fire rate slows down an incredible amount after a few barrages. I'll get to fixing that.
Also, I'd like to join the building class as to learn how to effectively build other ship designs and weapon designs. By expanding my ship building palette, I can learn to beat more variants of ships. I'm sure you've noticed by now, the two weapons I rely on are missiles and cannons. I only prefer these, as I feel the EMP missile makes the use of other energy weapons useless.
My ships also lack significant maneuverability, that can be easily exploited. I'll admit, I've come very far since I've started, but I still have much to learn. I have The Predator design to thank for my current knowledge now, as I invested many hours figuring out how to beat it, with guides and current ships in this thread. I actually cheered out loud when I beat the thing 😆
