This mod adds four self-destructible versions of vanilla structures.
Each struct comes with battery-powered explosive
Each struct can be powered on/off
Each struct will self-destruct in 3s when powered on (Cosmoteer 0.12.12 & above)
Each struct will self-destruct when enemy ship is within range (200, Before 0.12.12).
Safety first:
A destructible struct is safe when...
it is powered off
it has no power (battery)
(Before 0.12.12) it has detected no enemy in range (200).

You can't be too careful these days.
I placed a destructible struct but it does not have power when switched on.
Add door(s) from your main ship or fighters to outdoor structs so that crews can deliver battery to the struct.
How to switch it on?
Press hotkeys for selecting part(s)
with the ship selected
Left click
to select a struct.
Shift + Left click
to select multiple structs
On/off switch button would show up at bottom left corner for selected part(s).
Spacebar key to pause the game if you were caught in frantic battle.
