JohnStar145 as the crew always takes reactor batteries out from any near reactor module which includes that reactor/ftl hybrid.

These already produce plasma at a high rate and in larger quantity and are already optimally designed. Without telling military secrets I'll just say it's not worth it to do beyond these. Even if I did it would not change anything because crew logic makes the crew go to the nearest source. The AI's behavior has been discussed forever and this has always been demanded in order to shorten pathways between a power source and a user part. Therefore, another better part won't change the crew's preference. Placement is key! As for a purely dedicated and better reactor: in order to prevent cheating the design would end up the same minus FTL. It's not worth it.
bananomet When i go into creative mod and even if i try to place one of your weapons as the first thing, still unable to place it, doesnt give reason why, its just red and implacable.
So yeah, if you want people to use your mod and someone asks you how to use it, if there is some magical step by step special way, dont be a dick to him and actualy answer.
bananomet Hey man, i figured it out, you have to place controll room as the first thing, but its kinda stupid, because it doesnt say which is compatible with what, the controll rooms have the same description, so you have to do trial and error method.
That wasn't hard was it? Even a kid could do it no need for brains either. If you know everything about a game then where is the fun and why play at all then?
bananomet The problem is, 1 star tier has 3 controll rooms and some work only with some weapons, its weird.
Just a division in smaller sections/group/faction however you wanna call it. Nothing weird about it.
