Drakador_Chaos Yeah, I just tested that out and found it works - surprisingly enough. It's also nice to know Blood Cult has been updated - I am just trying to spread awareness of the new rule of "sprites with multiples of 64x64 only."
By the way, do you happen to know if all sprites must be square (even if the module in question does not fill all of a square shape, like the vanilla EB for example) for them to not throw an error?

Bummer the MicroTech Mod seems dead. As of this moment, the bubble shield rarely stops anything, the rest appears to be working.

Hello people, i'm BACK (sorry, i've been lacking time because life stuff), and since the original creator of Microtech seems to no longer be active at all for even longer than me, I will try to update the mod myself one more time, I don't promise Anything since i've only updated it once and i'm still trying to get a grasp of what needs to be changed in the codes (i'm still a scrub with codes)

Holeee crap. On a whim I launched Cosmoteer to find that in my absence it had gone from 0.12.12 to 0.14.3. Out of curiosity and guilt (mostly guilt) I hopped on the forum and searched my mod to find a substantial amount of hits (at least for me--this is the first time I've ever made, never mind released, a mod). If someone hasn't already, I'll update the mod, but it'll definitely take awhile. I have no idea what changes were made and how to make it compatible again. I can't promise I'll stick around, but from now on I am marking the 1st of every month on my calendar to check the forum. Sorry to anyone who was using the mod or wanted to after it went outdated.

Yeahhhh... Sorry about the sudden disappearance...
Microbot024 Another heads up: The engine and weapons code have completely changed. There's a dual laser blaster, a modular railgun, and there's a thing called engine rooms that buff your thrusters by 75%.
Oh, a 3x3 thruster now.
As well as multi-directional thrusters (though they are 1x1), new command interfaces and I think the ENTIRE code structure was actually RE-WRITTEN, so it's not just weapons and engines.
You really have your work cut out for you though - in a good way. There are two mod-upgrading programs made by Walt himself to upgrade your mod from 0.xx.x to 0.14.0 and then from 0.14.0 to 0.14.2, where you can figure the rest out by yourself. Good luck!

Thanks! I played a bit of Cosmoteer a couple hours ago to see what had changed. I'll try to get the current mod up to date first, then work on adding more things.

Hey! I heard you tried to update my mod. (Thanks for trying BTW.) How far did you get? Should I start from scratch, or do you have some things partially fixed?
Microbot024 Bassgun got really far but was stumped by an error about something in the code that was not supposed to be in game that caused a crash.
