Lafiel I can't find a difference in the code except the area damage either, yet the Photon Torpedo destroys shield generators that it hits the arcs off, the quantum torpedo doesn't. This cannot be down to the fact that the Photon does more damage on hit, as in the code, in case of the shield hit, the Quantum inflicts 10500 damage, the Photon 8000.

This is consistent with the behavior observed in the game, a deflector shield hit with a photon torp takes less damage than with the quantum torp, with the unique difference that the Photon torpedo ALSO damages the generator itself.

I just want to remove the damage to the generator, because it is just too strong.

    Sho lon true Lafiel i have a question if i get the abh mod without the troubleshooting thing will it cause the game to load very slowly and take forever to get to to game?

      wardoctor28 The game gets slower with every version with or without my mod. As far as statistics go (recorded in the logs) the memory usage is slightly more than compared to 0.9 on average. But this heavily depends on ship designs and size. From what I see 0.12.9/10 loads slower than 0.12.8 but not significantly slower.
      It's more important that you have some free disk space and at least 4GB of memory. You can run it with 2GB but you won't be able to play or build much.

      I notice FRAM kill, then ABH weapon AI retarget things, 12.10 help a bit but, man i have beast machine and ABH kill my frame rate or AI issues as general.

        x3owns Frame rate has been lowered to 100 by default since Cosmoteer 0.12.6 to prevent crashes when frame rate go beyond 1000. Unless your frame rates are less than 40 it's unlikely due to the mod. I don't see much lag difference and mine is an old machine.

                Each time I start Cosmoteer with the ABH mod enebled it crashes. Can you help?

                  An old scripting path link from Cosmoteer 0.10 was no longer valid and caused a crash when the part gets destroyed.

                  Hello, in the new version of abh mod the antiproton cannon fires once a blue beam other times a single bolt. Is that a bug?

                    I've found a strange shooting inconsistency in using the "kinetic wave pulse cannon" for some reason it hits itself in 0.12.10 while it worked just fine before in 0.12.10RC3.
                    For those who already have downloaded the mod just download and replace the file:

                      Hello, loving the mod!

                      I've noticed that the largest of the Shield generators, the R200A45F, also generates a small (only 1 square or so) shield segment at what would be the centre of the circle the arc describes. Since there is collision detection with shields, this means that ships regularly become anchored to each other and unable to manoeuvre independently.

                      I'm guessing this isn't deliberate!

                      Actually, it appears to be happening on all of the large arc shields.

                      Interestingly enough, the small shield bits don't show up in blueprints, only when running the game.

                      I'm not sure if this is happening to anyone else but explosive bolts are just exploding randomly

                      Also, I have no clue how to make antimatter

                        GreylerMarak GreylerMarak I'm not sure about this since I couldn't find it. It's possible I forgot to remove some test bit. It's also possible I fixed it with the new version 0.4.7. Please check and confirm it for me.

                        Solarwatch Fixed. There is a bug Lafiel which messed my setting but I fixed it with another temporary setting. Will have to remember to revert it later when Cosmoteer fixed it.

                        Solarwatch You have to use the Matter Matters mod by Skynet and use the Particle Accelerator. See example ship thread.
