Thanks for you answer, sadly I'm not sure if this is that change is what I'm looking for, as all the other weapons use PenetratingHit too, yet they don't inflict damage to the shield generator. I'm totally lost now.
I don't want to make the Photon Torpedo not able to penetrate multiple blocks, I just want it to not destroy the shield generators when hitting the shield arc, like every single other weapon I've tested, from your mod or vanilla.
The Photon Torpedo is the only weapon with that behavior, I'm just asking how to remove that exact effect.
EDIT: After changing PenetratingHit to SimpleHit, the Torpedos now explode on impact (as expected) without doing much overall damage, yet they STILL destroy shield generators when they hit their shield arcs.
I'm just searching for the damage effect that seems to be apparently unique to these torpedos, which is the direct damage to the generator even when only hitting the shield arc of said generator. THAT is what makes these torpedos so ridiculously overpowered.
