Event Format
Participants can post their submissions either below this post or in the discord in #design-contest-submissions
Do not Send your submission(s) ship to any event hosts on Discord, lest you risk them being lost in the void of their PC
A number of ships will be selected for community voting based on the number of ships submitted
Walt will veto any ships he feels to be not well suited for inclusion in Bounty Hunter
The community will vote on the selected ships to determine the champions
This month's design tourney has three available price ranges and the top two ships from each range will make it into the game
The designers of any ships added to Bounty Hunter will get their name in the game credits

Guidelines
Pure combat oriented ships (death cubes, walls, etc.) are not likely to pass moderator voting stage
As this is a design contest, ships shouldn't be stuffed to the brim with weapons; visual appeal is just as important as functionality
Ships that serve no apparent purpose or are inappropriate for Bounty Hunter will not get past Moderator voting

Notes and Rules
There are three price ranges; The first is: ₡0 - 500,000, The second is: ₡500,001 - 1,500,000, and The third is: ₡1,500,001 - 2,500,000
A participant can submit one ship to each of the price ranges
Mods are not allowed
Paint and decals are considered when selecting ships
Ships must be functional
By submitting a ship to this contest, you are giving Walt permission to include that ship as a built-in ship in Cosmoteer, if he so chooses
Dithered paint jobs that look bad up close will be vetoed by Walt: example

Rewards
Your name in the credits if your ship is chosen to be added into the game as a built-in ship
Discord rank (Master of Design) and Forum flair
Note: Three people will get the rank and flair since there will be a winning ship from each category

    Name: The Yellowjacket - by abcd27 (edit: i just noticed that i somehow missed a ship already called thI Yellow Jacket in game, so im renaming it to the "Killer Bee" for now.)

    Price Range: 2nd
    Description: medium gunboat that relies on shielding and constant rotation (the AI is a little quirky with this ship for some reason, it cant seem to decide which side to point at the enemy) to stay alive, very strong at close range. Its largest weakness is EMP missiles and electro-bolts, and also its movement speed. if you can get its engines, its a sitting duck and can be taken out by drilling through the back blind spot. I would class it as an elite or expert ship.

    IVIemories When will the voting end? I just got done making my first ship design and I'm moving on to my next. If I create a ship that spins by shooting it's weapons is that allowed or no? I just had this idea that it's a circle that has cannons and in the middle is the ships engines.
