IVIemories When will the voting end? I just got done making my first ship design and I'm moving on to my next. If I create a ship that spins by shooting it's weapons is that allowed or no? I just had this idea that it's a circle that has cannons and in the middle is the ships engines.

CaptainRedstone Pretty sure this is for bounty hunter only, so no. I would have to ask @Walt to make sure though.
Lukas Voting won't even begin until the submission period is over, if you're asking when the deadline for submissions are then it's here. As for your second question, in general as long as the ship can fight and isn't just a floating sack of loot then it should be good.

CaptainRedstone Are starter ships a possibility here? As in, if I call a sub-80K ship "Model §", will it actually become a starter ship?
I would consider making a winning ship a starter ship if it's in the price range and is a good new-player ship, i.e. isn't too complex/weird and has room to build. The thing with starter ships though is that they're deliberately not very creative. They're more of a canvas for the player to build off of and make their own. So I suspect that a ship that's creative enough to win the contest is probably by its nature not a good starter ship.
Also you can of course start the game with any cost-appropriate ship you want...
