Funny how a good designer can make a good ship and then make it look better with a little Photoshop. Araphel is a beast. I'm learning some hard lessons from it.
The white background with low res .png doesn't do the larger ships justice. For a design contest I appreciate a good screenshot.
Yeah I know but it makes the people who dont have photoshop look like blundering idiots who dont know how to make good ship designs aka me
I don't see anything that is more edited than a screenshot with added text.

@Vilda These are some of the most magnificently fantastic ships I've seen painted, I love the fading color of the "Urd's Swan" and "Araphel the Everlasting." The sleek angularity and crispness of the "H4XX0R." Simply exquisite, I hope to be this good and may ask in the future if I can paint with you, or watch you paint at some point. I can't wait to see what your next ships are. Truly excellent. I love the way you submitted them and how you aligned the text underneath as well, absolutely wonderful.

Description: Equipped with insane defensive capabilities, this ship is almost indestructible from the front. Although lacking in firepower, it slowly tears apart the enemy while absorbing their attacks.
(This ship aims to improve the player’s analytical skills as certain areas are much weaker than others. If they target the right parts, they are rewarded with some nice explosions.)

Well, I just want ship with mines launcher in auto-fire mode. So, this ship automatically spread mines in all paroling area. Maybe not much benefit in real combat, but now you can fly into mine field even if you not engage this ship directly. And of course this ship has some weapon and protect beside mines.

The Albatros is the lead ship of a series- The Birds of Prey. These interstellar mercenaries are known for their value, efficiency, and destruction of many forces, good and evil alike. You better not find yourself in front of one of these deadly ships, as it can tear you to shreds. With powerful ion weaponry and swarms of flak, controlling an Albatros will make enemies keel over at the mere sight of you.

Dean_the_Bean I just took a screenshot and added some text in paint. There is really not much you need to do apart from getting a decent screenshot.

The Satin Star - $1.000.000, exactly. (category 2) - Cube
The satin star was originally commisioned to Cubinsky Shipyards by a rich fabric trader, Sergej Duniper, whose favorite fabric was satin. Duniper wanted a ship that was entirely covered in the stuff, and he got it. (the absolute lunatic)
The Satin Star is a formidable opponent, mainly useful for countering small ships like corvettes and fighters. Pilots nicknamed it "The red Medusa", as it is able to continue fighting even with just one 'limb' and the core intact.
