Within the minute, it's surrounded by 300m gunships and several pocket carriers. Before the pilot even has time to comprehend what's happening, his craft shakes. The ship reports several breaches in the hull, the pattern forming resembling footprints. Looking up through the glass canopy, they see a towering mecha traversing accross the hull, stopping above and aiming its sizeable main gun straight at them.

As the pilot relaxes mid flight, a loud groaning sound is heard from the drive. The ship gradually slows from lightspeed, then the outside world is abruptly changed back to where he was a second ago.

Soundbust11 (Doesn't it only work with things that are within your sensor range? I reckon an FTL jump puts them out of there, and it would likely put the entanglements in decoherence.)

(So long as a particle is traced, it will remain that way, even if it moves out of sensor range. The sensor range is for establishing new traces, not keeping track of existing ones. The particles of his ship were traced the moment he entered the system.

As for the clear ooc element that people are bringing up here, ik that he wants his craft to exit the system, but I dont want a random intruder to the most heavily defended part of the entire VWP to get away that easily.)

(Oh yeah it's your home system, if it was the outer rims I'd doubt you'd have the equipment to keep track of it, but the further in the harder it gets.)

ShadowZero (The individual particles comprising his craft were being monitored, once he tried to escape, they were entangled with the many photons in the area he left and then had their polarities inversed, thereby "teleporting" him back.)

Soundbust11 (I don't no think that would work on a hyperdrive, maybe on a ship that uses artificial wormholes to accelerate faster than light)
