The internal airlock doors retracted much like the outer doors finally revealing the inside of the complex. Immediately it the air was shown to be stagnant, dust in huge abundance permeated the air and coated the floor and outcrops of the walls. The sheen of the nanite metal dulled under the dust showed little to no adornment, no glyph or writing merely utilitarian corridors that led on wards into the facility. Everything was still, the first time anything had moved within its confines for millions of years.

The initial rooms that many entering came to were mostly empty, solid blocks of nanite material rendered into rectangles, cubes and spheres which stood in the center of the rooms or on the walls possibly some form of furniture but it was hard to be sure. No power flowed through this top part of the complex but yet the nanites were reacting to the footsteps of the new arrivals, each section that those inside came to was lit up by a dull faint blue light which seemed to glow softly from the metal itself. The main areas of interested were on the lower levels and all access to such culminated in what appeared to be a lift, it was a cylindrical chamber which contained some kind of platform, a faint blue symbol appeared on the wall as those who wished to descend stepped on board it. But this time there was no easy way to avoid the other parties, everyone would be going down together.

As the decryption systems and translation systems finally dug deep into the under carrier wave it was clear the message was corrupted somewhat but fragments had survived.

"Last Ba---- rus be car---- ot come clo---- e sleep---- do not wa---- til the allo---- ime" It was all that could be made out for the time being. Without some kind of proper copy from the surface origin point of what the signal could possibly contain it was all that could be discerned for now.

The trooper moved onwards, although he tried to collect a sample of the nanite material with a scrape and some kind of metallic cannister that looked like a grenade, though was hollow on the inside. He found that the material was extremely tough, and in the process of trying to scrape it, his metallic tool broke, and the operation was quickly aborted.

Threading onwards through the facility, the darkness didn't bother this trooper one bit, as he came to the lift he "heard" other parties' movement throught the facility, and soon kneeled down with his assault rifle in hand and his shoulder-turret on the ready, and the control pannel right behind his back. Innacessible to others if they weren't to go over him, or make him press it.

The young man with his robots seems to stay where he is, and pulled out chairs from the ship, and stays on the platform that was lowered from the ship, he began to speak louder to the droid, since it is further away.

“Could you please take samples from the area, as I would like to get some samples, but be careful!”

He seems to care about his robotic, and smiles towards it, and then began to stare at the sky, and began to whisper to himself.

“Nature sure is beautiful, and sure has a lot of surprises to it...

I hope the others that are exploring here are being carefull, something about this place... Doesnt feel right.”

The robotic began to take some samples, carefully, as his creator said.

After deciphering the message as far as it was currently possible, the ship returned to it´s initial silence now internally as externally, apparently waiting for...
Well, who knows...?
It remained at it´s position and no further actions were taken as of now...

The teams on the scout craft on the surface continue doing their best to decrypt further and analyse what they have decrypted for possible solutions to the missing parts.

The team within the facility enter the elevator wordlessly, taking sensor logs as they go, though being careful not to disturb the nanites in their tasks, simply observing their behaviour. They simply wait for the elevator to descend, seemingly either uncaring, unwilling, or unable to communicate with the others.

While the drones lack the ability to decipher the message, their 'base' certainly doesn't. It takes some extra time to fill the missing or cut off words by simulating the possibilities, but the effort soon results in the preparation of 25 standart combat drones, ready to move in should they loose contact with all n-drones.

Led by the drone on the outside and their own sensors, the ones heading for the lower levels eventually arrive at the elevator, activating their particle shields as soon as they catch a glimpse of the trooper, but keeping their pace and not powering any weapons of their own. They would stop exactly 3 meters away from the soldier should they be allowed to advance uninterrupted, only one of the tiger-like robots would move additional 50cm before laying down and observing the trooper.

Reality shimmered as a small(ish) task force exited a hyperspace tunnel. On an observation deck of the dreadnought overseeing the operation, two women lounge in overstuffed chairs as they watch the ships around them make the transition to realspace operations. One of them lazily pets the head of her concubine as he curls against her. "So. Yet another mission to the outer edges of the galaxy to investigate odd signals. Thoughts?"

Her companion snorted derisively, pulling her own bed-warmer closer. (Although not a full-fledged concubine, Altro wasn't quite ready to be tied down like that) "What's there to have thoughts on, besides the stupidity of these missions at all? We should be focusing on the problem with the Reich, and shoring up the old system defenses, not in the middle of nowhere, mucking around with something no one really cares about."
