The (Insert Faction Name Here) Faction's Backstory
The (Insert Faction Name Here) Faction used to be a small mining and industrial Complex on the planet of Analor in the system of New derino (Actual In Game Star And Planet names). during 2077, the Demand of Metals from this planet started to decrease to Critical levels. And The (Insert Faction Name Here) Faction went out of business.
they thought of new money making schemes but many failed. a single employee at (Insert Faction Name Here) had an idea. but this idea was far to far-fetched to become reality. years went by with no signs of progression.
they had to resort to last resort ideas. and the employees idea came back. his idea was to build a thriving Industrial star ship that could fly from planet to planet stripping everything from every planet it went to. the corporation's leaders came to think it was the only way. many of the employees had left months or even years ago and there was not many experienced pilots.
soon later, in the year of 2081 the first scout ship was sent to explore the next closest planet, Theta Cuculerium IX. after an initial celebratory part that the ship got there with minimal encounters. they found out that there was one big problem. Lifeforms. in order for their plan to work they would have to Exterminate entire plant and animal species.
later that year the scout ship landed on Theta Cuculerium and the pilot started to explore the planet. to his surprise this planet was rich in natural resources. he even discovered some new minerals. one of these minerals was called Crainusinsaitysium for its unique properties of making people see things. yet the mineral was great for protection thanks to its other weird property. it was like a hard jelly. it could stop bullets dead in their tracks but was useless against laser weaponry.
the pilot sent back a transmission about his discoveries on the planet and soon later, in the year of 2089 a small fleet of research ships were sent to the planet to investigate further. a small outpost was set up on Theta Cuculerium not long after the arrival of the Research ships.
Meanwhile, back on Analor, the construction of the Behemoth ship was well underway.

Thank you guys for reading the backstory to my Faction! i'm open for a faction name! also maybe some more mineral names? anyways, i'm thinking of using a game called Space Engineers to record and upload small, short cinematic's for my faction. Tell me if you think this is a good idea!

Trade - Trades with other factions to generate income and raw materials for ships.
