He sits back in his chair, leaning the sword against the desk.

There is no mark, and so he walks to the door of the house nearest, knocking. Shortly there is the sound of unbolting, and a small, wrinkly man pokes his head out, looking at Nurian with a worried expression.
"G'maern tae yae sur, whut caen I dae fer yae?"

"Oh, things to do y'know, things to do. I've got to speak to some people about getting a wall up, we don't want those wolves coming into the town."
The coach rattles down the hill, and toward the seafront, it stops at the town centre, and Jasper gets out.
"I must leave you here I am afraid, but the cabby will take you the rest of the way, good luck."
He slams to door, and the cab continues, eventually drawing up outside a large baroque building on the seafront, waves crash against the sea wall beside them, and seabirds wheel and trill overhead, small fishing boats bobbing up and down on the waves out in the harbour.
"This is the "Palace", sir, your stop."
