The other passangers are frozen in shock, and the girl has her face buried in her mother's dress, the Cadaver gets jerkily to it's feet, and takes a step toward the Ambassador, the pain has indeed dampened, but he can feel some sort of pressure building at the back of his skull, and as he tries to dampen it again, the pain breaks out once more, only this time it lances up his spine, through his skull, and in his fingertips, he staggers, and falls backwards off the coach, suddenly he is weak, very weak, and when he tries to use his powers to get back up he feels as though his entire body will fly apart and is wracked with a pain and weakness that he has never felt the like of before...

... Heinrich sees the Ambassador fall out of the back of the coach, then, as he struggles to get up, Heinrich suddenly feels faint, he stumbles, and falls sideways off the coach roof, landing awkwardly on his arm, he staggers to his feet, but there is a growing pain in the back of his skull that is making his head spin...

... The Ambassador sees Adam round the side of the coach, and stand, mouth agape, musket held in hand, in front of the cadaverous figure, the figure reaches out a hand toward him, and he does not move, seemingly rooted to the spot, the Ambassador tries to get up, but he is too weak, the figure touches Adam's forehead, and he lets out a cry of pure terror, falling backwards, his musket goes off, and he slumps to the floor, the thing seemingly glides alcross the ground toward the Ambassador, and leans over him, it's breath rank, he cannot move, and is transfixed by those terrible empty eye sockets, he should not be afraid, he was designed not to be afraid, but right now, he feels terror, the figure reaches for him...
Then there is a nasty sound, and the thing falls, landing on the Ambassador, he is no longer transfixed, and the pain is gone, though he feels very tired, the last thing he notices before he loses consciousness is Jem standing over the Cadaver holding his melted rifle.
"If the bloody thing wasn't broken i'd have got it sooner..."
Everything goes dark, and he slips into a dreamless sleep...

Heinrich finds the pain gone, but he feels very weak still, and struggles to move, this is an unusual feeling for him, and he probably does not like it, Lagertha is no doubt feeling the same way.

The Clerk avoids eye contact with them on their way out, when they reach the street they find that it is raining hard again, and the temperature has plummeted to a (For them) bearable standard, where to go now...
