A question to the Gif mod:
Are you allowed to submit ships build with parts from this mod?
Meiko no, the reason being is that the modded weapons are more of a "preview" of things to come. In the final version they will be in their own terrain tab much like asteroids. When that happens the ships with the modded weapons will be broken.
Alpha yes and no. When I have the faction terrain tabs finished you can submit ships that are pure faction ships and not half vanilla have modded. It also will break the ships that have some modded parts when i move them to their own faction tab.

Thanks for posting the price list but what means 1-12 exactly which numbers get in which sectors/arenas?
Meiko it means that if u make ships within a certain price range on that list it will get into that tier.

Meiko Not firing doesn't matter as much as you think. Also, you are designing for bounty hunter, your goal is to do as much damage to the player as your ship can before it dies. Cause it will die. Nobody goes into galaxy in flames thinking "i'm going to go to sectors equal to my ships cost" cause that would be suicide. So think more about how to do the most damage/ not die as quickly instead of if your ship is efficient or not, cause it won't really matter.

This is really helpfull.
But wouldnt more crew mean the shield could stay up longer and the weapon fire sustains longer.
But if the shield is down it will then stay down longer and in this time the ship will cause no damage because all the power is going to powering the shield again and in this time the player can whipe away at the ship.
Meiko If the reduced cost means you get bumped into a lower cost range it will appear in less challenging worlds which is generally better for hurting the player. Also, 2 crew quarters is fine for those weapons and shield, you can autofire the weapons to test if you need more crew. But keep in mind that your eb won't be doing anything once the players' shields are down unless they come back online so you could replace one eb with a laser for more damage.

Meiko Okay one problem with you submissions is you are not submitting the correct format. You need to post the ".ship" version in order for me to test the design. Basically just you just need to post the ship that is in your "saved ships" folder in cosmoteer.
