Quality Starships Inc. has released their latest design, the QSS_Avenger!
For the low price of 1.43 million this ship has several useful features including:
- A centralized control room protected from attacks on any side
- A reactor core to provide more than enough power to all the ship's systems
- Sets of inward-facing shields to protect the reactor core
- Thrusters on all sides to provide easy maneuverability
- Several engine rooms to increase thrust
- Internal missile launchers to surprise and annihilate any ships than penetrate the armor.
- Cannons on all sides to destroy any enemies that stray too close
- Large missile/ammo complex to produce and store all ammunition and missiles needed
- Just enough crew (barely over minimum) to operate all systems to conserve space and cost
- Most importantly, the QSS_Avenger has a unique reverse conveyor belt and armor system that offers several advantages
~ Speeds crew back to the reactor core and missile/ammo complex to quickly get more supplies
~ Protects the interior of the ship from enemy weapons
~ Provides power and ammo to the cannons and thrusters
~ Features a built-in safety system. When the armor is breached, all travel to the outside of the ship stops to conserve crew

CrazyBirdie Originally wanted to build some more good ships before returning to my little "project". This ship oddity requires immediate reaction tho.

The crew can move contrary to the conveyor belts (thwarting QS's original idea), at least in Missile Prototype 5 which is what I am using, so it is not completely worthless. Easy to beat, though, for as soon as the cannons are out of ammo, it is a sitting duck until the crew can take ammo out, which takes a long time.
