Although their rift does not open, the Anhysbys do not flinch, exept for when the bolts of quantum probability are fired at them. It is not in their nature to be afraid...
They still continue to launch drones, and eventually decide enough is enough.
HI ships flying too close to the slowly moving forces are practically melted by energy draining shots.
Damage from weapons fire hitting the Anhysbys is quickly repaired by their regenerative "hulls".
And their shields, although usually not seen, shimmer a bright crimson, protecting them from harm.
Only some are truly destroyed, the rest continue onwards.
When destroyed, the Anhysbys seem to explode in a green-red caustic cloud of gas.
Said cloud sticks to ships, slowly "eating" them should they attempt to salvage their fallen dead.
Although, for the sake of having some peace, they begin to move towards the rally point.
It seems, that this amount of Anhysbys is practically impossible to fully destroy without overwhelming numbers and firepower.
Something that HI clearly has, but to waste that on them now would be pointless.
Occasional swarms of drones attempt to rush the rings, again and again. Of course, none make it now.
It may seem that for as long as the Anhysbys are present, swarms will harrass them.
