Effervescent-Blade Observes the situation as forces he initially thought were allied turned on the attacking forces. "You appear to be correct - I must have been biased on my initial ideas of the plot's advancement. sigh once again reminded that perfection is far from possible."

The Battleship's Comm system comes online as Hans and Tyr were about to be deployed... so they were told. "UNFORSEEN CIRCUMSTANCES HAVE OCCURED, WARMASTER. We're taking you outside of the interdict field and initiating a plan B. The Stellar Assembly will not give in so easily."

((Well, the HI Interdict spheres are pretty special in that FTL travel is impossible in or out. The only effective way to bypass this seems to be through dimensional travel - Rift-based travel drives, to be exact. Thankfully, the Dimensional Collective are sending in another Beacon network to even the playing field - making their own Rift network more stable through the Interdict field and hopefully allowing allied reinforcements to ensue.))

"Those... Bastards... TO THE TRULY ALLIED FORCES OF THIS FIGHT - WARMASTER EFFERVESCENT-BLADE IS ISSUING A FIGHTING WITHDRAWL. RETREAT TO THIS LOCATION - WE WILL SET UP A HEAVILY FORTIFIED BEACON NETWORK JUST WITHIN THE BORDERS OF THE INTERDICT SPHERE AND INITIATE A PLAN B FROM THERE."
The Collective Forces begin backing up, still firing with everything they have, though their initial forces have dwindled by now. Ferana was only partially surprised that whoever headed the Collective fleet did not send their Coreship through to try and assault the Star Forge his/herself... although they would not be so dumb to send their own coreship or all of their fleet at once. One has to give credit where credit is due - whoever her main opponent is must be giving everything they've got in their tactical handbook.
