When the Nullspace shields finally overload due to the sheer amount of singularity energy being converted and transferred into a capacitor within the rift (and said capacitor exploding in the IPD of the owner Core-AI), the ships ((I assume Hans and Tyr get in the designated battleship)) enter the Rift just as Penumbra-1 implodes upon itself and reappear forward, alongside some of the Anyhsbys (!?) drones, but then suddenly find themselves bombarded by the lances of the Forge - the Nullspace shields whining under the massive conversion of the energy - they were forced to turn it off and succumb to the rest of the lances.
Then... some weird shit happened and Effervescent-Blade could hardly keep track of what was happening, apparently involving some sort of dimensional collision between realities that suck in the star forge while some drones divebomb solar panels? (killercat625 Boiled_Cabbage) The Coreship opens a psionic-based transmission to the general area where @Zekaria was faintly observed before this kerfuffle...
