        I just want continuous-beam fighters. I've started playing with various kinds of specialist fleets, and fighters that can move around while keeping the heat on a shield would be invaluable. (Right now I tend to work with whatever the longest-range weapons I can find on a ship that also doubles as WACS system for the fleet, using maximally buffed sensors to give us an idea what we're getting into. Then I have up-armored short-range ships with whatever can clear away parts the quickest. The combo is just sweet.)

          Hey so, great mod as i said above, now i got a suggestion for the lasers (i love how you can place them behind armor and stuff) for certain fighter it would be nice to have a double sided one (the side lasers but the turrets are on both sides) it would obviously cost more than just 2 lasers as it would be way better. I do not know it it is bossible, so don't quote me on that, it's just a suggesion i thought would be worthy of being here.

            Mycroftxxx I'm thinking in doing a Plasma Lance like the one in homeworld 2, is a fixed beam weapon, i'm not sure about a turret version of it though.

                      These are the important lines. It's a known issue with ABH. Theoretically, you can go into the mod.TXT file and comment out any mentions of the Electron Beam Laser and Tractor Beam with "//" (no quotes, just a double slash). This didn't work for me, but it's the go-to solution for dealing with crashes of this nature.

                      Either way, while it's entirely possible that it's a compatibility issue between Kroom's and ABH, the crash is caused by ABH.
