If there are divine beings used without justification, that are used in fact by less responsible people I do think the existing divine entities would act...

    yobeefjerky

I really like this idea! Finally something with actual consequences.

yobeefjerky A single drone can replicate into two drones which can replicate into four drones then eight drones, 16, 32, 64, 128, 256, 512, 1024, 2048, 4096 etc.
That's just assuming a drone can only replicate one other drone per generation which is incorrect, a single drone can replicate into multiple other drones.

No, It could still work if they multiply by 2. (And also, I assumed multiplying by 2) One faction thinks there are like 10 left and then makes the stupid move that "Hey if we get rid of the 10 drones before they can multiply, then there won't be any mak left to multiply."
It doesn't matter what they multiply by.

What happens if I fight fire with fire? I mean create my own "mak"

Ultranova The Xyrn have already made a truce between themsleves, and are preparing for war. (Why are they defending the other galaxy? Because they want to conquer it later, AND the mak also might come to their galaxy.) As you remember, they bought those large shield generators, ALSO intending a Thermopylae style battle. So, they ask; Would you like to join the Truce?

Jesus3747 Might be considered a superweapon if they are stronger I guess and would be ineffective if they are weaker...though that´s just a guess.

i....execute defense plan B, modify the drones

Drakador_Chaos I'm not pointing fingers at anyone, I'm just making a point. Alot of the RP here in the forums is boring because it's just overpowered factions fighting overpowered factions with nothing happening or going on.

My point is, the majority of role-playing I've seen has to do with this, so I was making a generic point about role playing.

Ultranova That's why we need actual battles like KoL vs. Bloodcult, small-scale events, and more. Unfortunately, such things are barely possible as nobody can survive with small factions nowadays.

G4L4XY i have a solution for that....i could allow 4 small factions into a seperate galaxy in the UEE's home dimension, they could do stuff and interact with the UEE, and they'd be protected from most factions that can't breach the dimensional barrier.

G4L4XY Or you could have a different type of small faction. Maybe, everything about them makes them small except for the fact that they have an immense amount of political power and/or are very neutral. This would make attacking them raise a lot of enemies, while still allowing the existence of small factions. It may also have quite an amazing technological advancement, but have signed a contract, meaning that attacking them will create similar results.
As well, small factions are likely to be either of those anyways, as it cannot fight face to face and needs powers to support it.

            Iantech My small faction:

Uhh, advanced technology? Immense amount of political power? No, imma just have somewhat bad tech and only one star system and a few outposts under my control.

Iantech And, that was my original idea for a faction back when Parendam Beta was happening.

yobeefjerky Also, can i integrate the Mak into lore for pretty much anything?

                  RedAndCosmoteer
Technically, the Mak can be integrated into the history of a faction IE: they come from a galaxy that was consumed by the Mak and are effectively refugees. not sure what you mean by "pretty much anything"

yobeefjerky What i'm asking is if it's okay for me to add the mak to lore.

                  i'm assuming yes.

                    RedAndCosmoteer
As long as they don't get solved or something then yes, it's not a huge deal
(what I mean is the refuge faction never found out a way to deal with the Mak aside from thermal weapons, nor did they ever find out anything about the Mak themselves)

yobeefjerky (So the only thing they're allowed to know about the mak
                    is that they exist
                    and are weak to thermals?
                    seems ok)
