...after the ritualistic Cult-war between the Hunters and the Mainfleet considerable amounts of the territory had been destroyed, just as large parts of the fleet were driven nearly to extinction within just a few moments, despite that, the Cult territory is still dangerous and many still unsolved mysteries lie in it´s depths...
The first thing seen once entering the territory seems to be an old sign floating amidst space, curiously it does not matter where one enters, the sign would always be there...
Greetings, and Welcome to the Hunters Cult territory!
No trespassing past this border, violation will most likely result in getting eaten.
No...
-"I kill you and you can´t do anything about it "plot"-weapons/armor"
-"Fleets with stacks of ships"
-"Ships with a serious overload of shields and/or superweapons"
-"Keepers of Light"
-"Damages to this sign"
...allowed past these borders, thank you for your attention,
The Warlord
Once you passed this sign you know you have entered former Hunter territory, while it´s master and most of the fleet are gone, many of the beasts that fled the exposion following Calamitys death have settled in this territory, large asteroid fields, desolate planets, sometimes with extensive underground structures or old ruins are the most notable things in this territory, though the Bloodwraiths are still watching even as the Cult is gone...
The Hunters were the Cults guard and had many run-ins and relations with other factions, artifacts and other things are still hidden in it´s territory...
...moving further into the Hunters territory there seem to occassionaly planets covered in masses of flesh however, the first few signs of the fallout the Calamity-blast had caused are also experienced here, biological Crew seems to show tendencies towards seeing halucinations and hearing violent voices...
The most notable point within the Hunters core-territory is most likely the superstructure that surrounded the former headquarters, while the station moved into battle the surrounding stucture, including the fleshforge, the archives, weaponchambers and other things are still here, lying dormant...
Soon after this point, the Mainfleets territory will start, the borders are unmistakingly distinguishable by corpses of massive Maws that once defended the Hunters borders from the Mainfleets assault, some of the carcasses might even still be used as cover by some of the smaller beasts...
Passing the borders there will be nothing for a considerable distance until the outer Cult-territory is reached, more desolate planets on occassions dying suns and blackholes make up parts of this area, apart of that there is barely anything here as the fleets had been retreated to core-territory before the last battle...
...the blasts fallout is clearly noticable here, signs of strong fear and aggression are shown by Crew in this area, some yell at their co-crew to make the screams stop...
The mid-layer of the Mainfleet territory... the areas are littered with corpses from the battle, what didn´t die in battle died from the psionic shockwave following the blast, only very few of the remaining beast came back to area, whatever you will meet here won´t be pleased to see you in the slightest and will most likely have the psionic force and firepower to match it´s aggression...
As for the environment, most of the normal planets are gone by this point only the Cult-planets remain which housed structures of the Mainfleet like genebanks, Cult-tech factories, "biomatter"-storages and fleshforges, as well blackholes and dying and newborn Suns are in this territory navigating through this area is highly dangerous due to being part of the galactic core...
Crewmembers have been seen killing each other for no apparent reason, or try to scratch their own eyes out screaming in agony, sometimes a discharge of the remaining Cultmagic is seen in open space, releasing massive amounts of destructive energy...
While the mid-territory is already dangerous the Core territory is...ridiculously hazardous, in fact so hazardous that not even the largest of the Cults own beasts have returned to this place, the core territory is in a large, nearly empty field near the core of the Galaxy...
Massive clouds of what seems to be blood are in this area, aggressive Cultmagic and psionic streams travel through the core, destroying everything in their path, even a long time after the blast...
There are nearly no remains of the battle in this territory apart of occassional chunks of the former Cultbeasts or one of the destroyed Cultplanets...
It is rumored that somewhere within this core-territory is the Throneworld of the former Hivemind, very little is known about what it holds or where it is exactly, though what is sure is that the Throne of the Hive is located there...
The effects of the fallout of the blast on the Crew in this area are extensive, some of them die where they stand staring into thin air as they enter core-territory while others break down whispering, chanting old verses of the Cult loosing all memory and self-preservation instincts, others have reported of sudden physical malformations, aggressive behaviour, even cannibalism and other things...
For these reasons, in whatever way and for whatever reason you got to this point, it is advised that only the most strong willed individuals enter the core, it is also advised to enter alone and only with a small vessel, as it is impossible to evade incoming streams of volatile Cultmagic or psionic force-waves with a large ship, which would mean a quick, yet comparatively merciful end to your quest...
