I have returned with another ship that probably fails!
I noticed that few ships in your mod use sensor arrays, especially the smaller ones, so I made this:

Northerner I did not expect that. I suppose I will make more sensor-ships, for the sake of ambushing! (And believe me, your mod really helps me fine-tuning my ships)

Alpha Thank you for for your submission! However this ship did not pass. The shields were destroyed in the beginning of the fight right after they went down. My recommendation would be to move the shields back and put armor in front of them. If possible I would also cut out 2 shields, some armor and one of the command rooms and add more weapons.
Not to rain on your parade but, in case you didn't know, the AI in the arena will begin to attack you as soon as you enter an arena world so by using sensor arrays you handicap yourself.
Ships in the normal worlds use the normal/hard AI so sensor arrays are useful on those ships. In general you wouldn't use a sensor array on a tournament ship but you also don't generally have tournaments with the max total cost being over 1,000,000 either. So in price ranges above 1,000,000 I can put arrays because I have the extra cost and it doesn't affect combat performance in a negative way... generally.

Northerner Yeah, it was just the idea of smaller ships with sensor arrays. They are indeed a handicap, but I wanted to try. (I totally forgot about the covering shields in armor thing, I don't know why I didn't do that this time...) I'll try again later.

Northerner Crash when going to arena: title fight (I am using your mod with huge ships, free ftl travel and the mod that gives you a lot of credits (not that I like cheating, I was just looking around))
(Edit: Error is now fixed so I removed the log.)
I must say, nothing is more satisfying than encountering one your own ships when checking the mod out.

Alpha Okay fixed it, go ahead and redownload.
Also if you could in future, instead of sending me the error log please just tell me what you were doing when it crashed. Saves a lot of scrolling.

Now the error is fixed I will remove the log, it makes the page indeed more pleasant to read. (If you for some reason still need it, I have copied it and will keep it for a week or so.)

Would this be ok?
I know its not painted, but it can defeat any of the built-in ships in a 1v1 battle
Zachary Thank you for your submission! However it did not pass. It severely lacks in fire power compared to other ships in its price range. The reactors also chain exploded and wiped out most of your weapons in the first volleys. My recommendation would be to play Galaxy in Flames on easy for a few runs and work your way up! It will forge you in fire and make you a much better ship builder! In any case I hope that this doesn't discourage you from submitting ships in the future and hope to see more of you soon!
Just so everyone is in the know from 9/14 to 9/23 I will be working double shifts at my job so 6am to 10pm so development of Galaxy in Flames will be halted during this time. I will keep tabs on the page on my phone during this time and will resume work on the mod on the 24th.
