Sombreroman
Echo: "w-w-well I was the one responsible for organising the comms jamming field and not letting it affect us, along w-w-with the ships, I located them at a navy beacon."
"-sigh, this wasn't how it was meant to go down. We didn't think the ISC would be able to escape the jamming field, we thought they would stay, a-a-and then we where going to destroy the Illusion III, But the ISC had FTL and Comms jamming, or they might have just been remotely disabling ours, I don't know, but we had to attack the Ilridan class to escape, at the very least, as it was the likely jammer ship."
Cat-Tau: "Huh, so you found those ships, would have been nice if you actually told everyone what the plan was before getting us to take over this thing"
Echo: "...I had one job, and I failed everyone didn't I"
Mouse-Tau: "Yes, yes you did, if we could have communicated without any stupid comms jamming and more importantly used ftl, this would have never happened."
Echo: "wait, what happened to the captain."
Cat-Tau: "He shot himself, he didn't want to become a captive again."
Those first few words are very sudden and blunt, even after the huge amount of bloodshed that has gone on.
Echo: "Oh"
The cat turns and stands over the captains body for a moment, before picking him up.
Cat-Tau: "let's just go."
Echo: "what? Your bringing hi---"
Echo, along with most troops looking, notice a identical tattoo like marking on both the Wolf and the Cat's forehead as she turns back around although the troops can only guess as to what it is.
Echo: "Oh.... yeah lets just go... s-sorry."
(ill explain some stuff here: )
(Echo is one of the main components to the rebellion's success, well, overall success at least. He was responsible for the tourist beacon hack to jam ISC signals, however, The regrouping ISC ships realised this even if late, and manually overrode the captured ships comms and FTL, forcing them into this very engagement, he and many others blame him for this situation, even though there was nothing he really could have done.)
(The other two Tau's: every rebellion vessel was given at least one very well trained engineer, typically a mouse, or other small creature. The cat, is a second in command to the captain, an important leader for the TSC, indicated by the multiple markings on her arm.)
(forehead mark: Tau equivalent of a wedding ring. A permanent, almost impossible to remove mark.)
Meanwhile in space:
The other faragaut continues towards the sphere, only slowed by the ships trying to stop it.
The ISC seeker. Calculates that the ship will only damage, not destroy the sphere, however the ships pushing up against it, will all be crushed if they don't get out of the way.
However, the Faragaut could have some explosives on board, that would blast even more of the sphere away.
Either way, the ISC have succeeded in their goal here:
Confuse everyone, make the TSC/rebels look even worse, make the ISC look just as bad without graham...
The other ISC ships have no idea the Faragaut even was tasked with this, two of the transports breaking off from the slowing battle with the boarding parties to attempt to stop the faragaut.
This order, clearly, was only given and accepted by only this one ship.
