Hexer is severely wounded and can't walk, so he decides to call in an escort and magjump or FTL-jump him to the Citadel. Turns out, he destroyed it a few times already, so he asks U66 to call in escorts only to find out that 66 forgot his own transmitter as well. Hexer then takes his gun and shoots the mantle a few times, causing an alert in the Citadel with "an attack on the Leader". The mantle is unharmed. After mere seconds, a squad of Glitchers and a bunch of Glitcher-droid abominations fused by Fractality appear in the cave with a familiar FTL flash. Thankfully, the Fractality is reasonable enough to make its hosts look more humanoid, and only 3 out of 9 abominations lack or have extra limbs or organs. The "clean" Glitchers take Hexer and U66 and FTL-jump away with the same flash. The Fractality here is a governmental genome which is about 0,0000000000000000000000000000000000000000006% contagious.
"Leader!" -whispers one abomination.
"Yes?"
"Our Pope has committed unintended suicide!"
"Suicide? You meant sacrifice?"
"No, suicide! He choked when speaking to an enraging human! The hivemind never lies, my Leader!"
"Very well, I'm sure someone will become the next Pope of yours quite soon."
Hexer's tone of voice is that of speaking to infested babies that vomit everywhere.
