Major Kamen stood up from his seat on the cruiser "Nicodemus" and walked to the tactical console, the ensign manning it twitching nervously in his seat, all the staff who didn't know him were in some degree afraid of the Major. Those who do know him realize that the more abuse that he directs towards people generally means that he likes them, it wasn't so much that the Major had ever done anything to MAKE people afraid of him, he hadn't, in fact the Major was actually a very nice person, it was just that that he had an unfortunate aura of evil around him. he leaned over the console further to peer at the display and spoke.
"I don't like this one bit. comm the Sols, make sure they hear about everything, and I mean EVERYTHING that happens here. Its not so much the Offworlders I'm worried about, in fact I'm not worried about them at all, they seem quite friendly towards us in a vague sort of way, it's whatever else is going on here behind the scenes I'm worried about. Arrange a standing guard on the FLEDs, and bring in the test group, I know they aren't ready for integration yet but I don't want some Offworld 'bot blundering in and barbecuing them by accident. Also send a Zipper team to pick up that cred stash they gave us, it looks a bit untidy leaving it there.”

“Open a channel to inspector Glenn, I want to talk to him.”

A picture of a thin man with high cheekbones appears on the main display, he is very pale, and has the look of a man who is so efficient he files his socks in order of thickness. He smiles slightly at the corner of his mouth and speaks
“Ah, Kamen. How are you?”
“At the present time, very worried. Project C looks to have hit a stumbling block, you see...”
“the Offworlders?”
“Now how on earth did you know...”
“We have ways and means Major, ways and means, I expect you want me to go and monitor the Offworlders settlement.”
“Yes, I expect you realise why.”
“Quite Major”
“I am now going to transfer to the Hospital. Get a few things tightened up over there. Keep me posted. Kamen out.”
Out on the system fringe 3 freighters and their escorts Jump in, they comm the Hospital
++Hello this is Offworld GP crew here, we managed to get away from... well I actually don't quite understand what it was but whilst it was concentrating on the Offworlders we managed to dismantle the station and bring it back.++
Kamen sits down at his office desk in the hospital,
“Get me a channel to the Offworlders.”
