dafeeeeeeeeeesh Just take a look at the missile prototype version of Cosmoteer right now. The current meta is mine ships, and nuke alpha strikers. Nukes are really hard to balance no matter the scenario, and I am quite amazed at how well Walt has managed to balance his (which are still questionable). Long story short, taking the sheer one-hit-KO damage of a nuke, and applying it to a roof turret in the first place is going to be very difficult to balance. Even if this were introduced into the mod, anything over one or two missiles in storage would be too difficult to deal with in almost every way. I am sure someone will come out with a roof variant once the prototype comes out anyway
