Vice Admiral Tharix
Suddenly the Stormtroopers run to the ship, and the mouse droid runs out. A large bag of Tharix's belongings was thrown out, and the doors began to close. "W-WHAT!? STOP! DONT YOU DAMN DARE LEAVE!" It was too late. They undocked, and began leaving the facility.
The Second Tau Empire
MaxwellCharlie
oh god... what did we do!
wait... thats not us... oh ok then! ill let you go!
good luck in whatever that is!
Jenwuf
Suddenly the ship Jumps into hyperspace. Leaving STE in the dust...
MaxwellCharlie
the large speakers blared loudly:
STEALING A SHIP IS A CRIMINAL OFFENCE PUNISHABLE BY DEATH
PLEASE RETURN TO THE LANDING PAD IMMIDEATELY
but, alas, it was too late
moments later, the Tie fighter is pulled out of hyperspace by an unknown entity
pulling a solar panel off in the process...
Jenwuf
Vice Admiral Tharix
"NO! NOOO! NOOOOOOOOO!" He yelled. "There is NO way that I can get back to TIE space in time! GOD F@#&ING DAMMIT!" The mighty Vice Admiral... was defeated. He collapsed onto his knees. He was devastated. The great leader of an even greater fleet... had a single tear roll down his cheek.
MaxwellCharlie
Akio turns to Tharix stunned:
"oh my... well... i really dont know what to say
i hope those &%$ rot for that!
They... they! actually betrayed you!
thats wrong! that is F&$ing awful...
god.. im sorry Tharix, that is awful
well... i suppose the least i could do is offer you refuge while this is sorted out,
im sure the locals wont mind!
come with me, i own a Estate here, we can sort this out over a cup of tea."
Jenwuf
Tharix
He just sat there. Stunned. Horrified. Disturbed. He couldn't move. He had just lost everything he had worked so hard for. His entire life's work, gone. All he had was the clothes on his back and the bag of things the troopers threw out of the ship. He started to sway back and forth. He was dizzy, light headed. 'This couldn't be real... right?' He thought to himself. 'This HAS to be a nightmare... right?!' He felt like he himself had just betrayed Thrawn... And thus, he fainted.
MaxwellCharlie
Akio stood silent for a moment, and then realised what just happened.
If he was honest, he couldn't possibly think why he thought he would be ok with this situation
But regardless, he continued to take him to his estate in the gravity ring, this time, on a stretcher instead.
Jenwuf
Tharix
He sat up with a jolt. "NO!" he yelled. He realized he was in a strange place, but didn't know where. His mouse droid was zooming around, going crazy without him. "Phil?" His bag of belongings sat next to him. The droid spun to look at him, and spun around in joy, proceeding to accidentally SLAM into a wall. He realized what just happened was, in fact, not a nightmare, but reality.
MaxwellCharlie
Looking around the room, Tharix clearly saw he was in a bedroom of sorts.
In fact, it was very old fashioned, with large black wooden beams holding up the roof.
The only other things of note in the room, was a large window behind him
From which, almost natural seeming light spilled through.
A large dresser near the door, which too was old and made of presumably wood.
And if course, the bed he was sat in had a large headboard, although padded with cloth, and whatever he was lying on was rather comfortable, likely the final word in mattress based technology,
His belongings, sat comfortably next to the right hand side of the bed
In front of a rather small bedside table, upon which, a small lamp stood.
Before he could get up himself,
The door slowly crept open,
Stood within the doorframe was a single Tau.
She stood, for a moment, watching the mouse Droid keep almost bumping into things,
Before speaking.
"hello there, Tharix? I think Akio said your name was.
I'm Maya, Akio's partner.
Good to finally meet you, even if it isn't on the greatest of circumstances.
Are you feeling ok? Do you need me to get anything?

Jenwuf
Tharix
“M-Maya is your name?” Spoke he. “Yes, I’m Vice Admir-“ he cut himself off, realizing that he wasn’t the great Vice Admiral anymore. “Yes, I’m Tharix.” He said, sounding depressed.
MaxwellCharlie
"oh... I'm sorry about that."
A long moment of silenced passed
"well... I'm sure... wait, I'm not sure how that works actually.
I'm sure you will be fine! Akio was when he left them...
But...
He wasn't...
Anyway, haha we don't need to think about all that do we!
Are you alright enough to walk?
I'm sure sitting downstairs in the living room is better than lying there no?
And sorry about Akio having to leave,
He has work he needs to get done to do with those aliens that popped up recently."
Jenwuf
Tharix
"I... Oh that's right, he's an ex-Tie member..." He paused. "Any idea when he'll be free? Because... I'd like to speak with him. B-but yes, the living room downstairs... that sounds great." He stood up without any problems, and even grabbed the sack o' belongings. The little droid buzzed around, fallowing him nonetheless.
MaxwellCharlie
"Ah yes, come with me."
She turned around, and presumably Tharix followed (as you said)
As they walked through the landing-corridor towards the stairs, Maya spoke
"so, Akio will be back soon, I'm not sure when, he said around now, but you know what those rail systems are like, took us half an hour to get here when you fainted on us!"
She couldn't help but keep watching the little mouse Droid buzz around whilst they walked
Tau's non-usage of droids clear to see, by the childish fascination in her eyes
"hah, that thing is so cute! I wish I had something like that, just look at it buzzing around you like that! You two must have known each other for a while, for it to be so happy to be around you like that!
You given it a name?"
And so, for the first time in history,
A tau called a black box on wheels "cute"
By this point, the three had reached the stairs.
(I'm not exactly certain how mouse droids handle spiral staircases, but I'm sure you could just pick him up XD)
Jenwuf
Tharix
The droid basically tumbled down the stairs and landed upside-down. When Tharix got down there, he gently flipped the droid over. "Yes, we sure have. I call him Phil. I've never truly understood why he likes me so much, but he does!" He looked down at the little droid. "They sure are much less annoying than those damn R-2 units." He spoke. "Now, let's see what's in this godforsaken bag." He rummaged through it, and eventually found a few items of interest, one being his blaster, another being a deactivated Interrogation droid, and another being... "My blueprints!" He exclaimed. The depression in his face turned to pure joy. He held up a small-medium black coloured box. "Oh thank god I still have these!"
MaxwellCharlie
"so, what are those blueprints you speak of?
Actually, tell me once we have sat down, my legs are killing me"
now in the living room, Tharix looked around
He was met with the same styling as before
A medium sized room, with a large set of bay windows on one wall
A flatscreen TV, that was rather at odds with the rest of the room
And various shelves, full of books, and other odds and ends collected over the years.
A sofa sat facing the TV, whilst two sofas sat at an angle, but still facing the TV somewhat.
A table sat by the window,
Presumably a dining table, although seemingly unused, as evidenced when they passed the HUGE dining table in the entrance area where the stairs ended.
Maya, proceeded to sit in one of the arm chairs, and sighed a huge sigh
Before remembering about her question
"right, so...
Those blueprints, what are they for exactly?
I know its not really my place to ask
But, they seem important to you.
And that's better to talk about than something boring isn't it?
And take a seat! The sofa is more comfortable than that bed I can assure you."
Jenwuf
...a few hours after they entered the beacon network the TATC convoy and reached the other side, they left ftl at the borders and sent a transmission towards a nearby Tau outpost ...
/Transmission Start/
Thank you for the cooperation, the convoy has passed Tau space without major incidents.
/Transmission End/
...the ships pass the border at sublight speed and then disappeared from the sensors a fews moments later...
Jenwuf
Tharix
He froze. 'Am I authorized to show these to a member of STE?' he wondered. 'It doesn't matter anymore, Tharix... they're gone. Tie left.' He then stated "Well, these are my life's work." "My whole life I've designed and built machines and ships, so when I was inducted into Tie, I was ecstatic." He continued. "This is one of my earlier designs." Spoke he, holding out some blueprints that showed a T.I.E. fighter of some sort. On it, it read 'Twin Ion Engine Fighter Generation II'. Its design was slightly smaller than that of the average tie, and on the paper, it stated that it's total expenses as compared to the average T.I.E. fighter is a whole 2,700 credits cheaper, even though it featured twice as many guns. "It was never built... like many of my creations..."
MaxwellCharlie
Maya looked at the blueprint for a moment
before speaking, half in awe at the design in front of her,
"well, that sure looks complicated to me!
i cannot comprehend how you would come up with something like that.
Let alone why no-one would use something as good as that too!"
Before anyone could say nor do any more, A large creak, followed by the bang of two doors closing, marked someone, presumably Akio's entrance to the house.
"Argh why every single time do they need me there"
Maya proceeded to get up and go to the living room door before speaking again
"Aki! I told you not to shout like that! Our guest could have still been asleep"
"I know! but seriously! why do they need me there to supervise a dumb meeting anyway
Hang on, let me get out of this damn cloak, bloddy thing...
wait.. he is up?
"of course he is up! why would i keep him in bed like that!"
"hmm, i suppose so.
But... he could have hurt you! you should have waited for me to get back."
"oh Aki. Im fine, just because he is a human doesn't mean he would hurt us like those back on Tau-A1 did."
"well... hang on Maya ill be back in a moment"
The last sentence was quickly followed by some quick footsteps up the stairs.
Maya however, turned back and sat back down, before speaking again.
"haha, Sorry about Akio, he is usually like that when he gets home from these meetings.
But! where were we... oh! thats right, Your blueprints... Any idea why they didnt use them?
they seem perfect to me!
Even if im not really a Tech person myself."
Jenwuf
Tharix
He paused. "Actually, I'm only about two thirds human, as my bloodline consists of over 20 different species. Not sure where I got this eye from, but it doesn't seem human to me!" Said he, pointing to his yellow eye, looking slightly less sickening than usual. "Anyways, my best guess is since I was not the lead ship designer, nor technically a ship designer at all, it wasn't taken seriously. There are a few of my creations that have been built, bot not many." He flipped pages until he got to the 'Incisor-Class Star Destroyer'. "This is one of the few that were built, as well as that shuttle I flew in on. I just wish that my projects could have been put to good use."
