no, that is not how science works! i did triple physics m9 and my hobby is astral mega structures! ๐, by the way, how old a star is does not affect how large a supernova is, as young stars do not go nova, therefore there can be no comparison. but, taking for example our star, when it goes nova in about 50,000,000,000 years or whatever the amount is it would be at least a week before the explosion even reached earth, let alone any planets farther out, people dont realise how really BIG space is, and that's why sci-fi films aren't realistic, as reality is in most cases very Sloow! it's a common misconception.
