Americans DO have the right to say that the President is a moron and to make as much fun of the current office-holder as we want, (look at the Bush administration) but usually, even the moronic presidents are at the very least competent in politics. The cheeto-faced baboon in the White House right now, though? Forget it. We're all doomed.

LeftHandofGod You think Trump is the worst president we ever had in over 200 years? Not by a long shot, if you know your history. And we somehow survived them before, so we will survive the current one.

People are under the mistaken misunderstanding that the president some how is in control of the federal government. If you ever took 'government' in school, you would know this is false, as he is only 1/3 the power. You have two other branches that also hold power.

WillieSea Admittedly, there is power elsewhere in the government, in the Senate and SCOTUS. However, I'm personally concerned because of the sheer amount of indifference he seems to show to the office and its responsibilities. People from the US either like guns or they don't. Not much middle ground.

LeftHandofGod I have several guns and I know how to use them. That said, the reason we are allowed the right to guns is to keep the government from becoming a dictatorship. Once you remove guns from the people, the government can do anything they want to the citizens. The founding fathers saw this happen in many other countries and did not want it to happen here. The latest country that did this was Germany in the 1930's and we all know what happened there. Or at least you should know.
