What we know of them till now:
our research logs have shown that behind the portals is a planet which is a living being and is capeble of eating almost anything
EMP and Nukes have little to no damage to this planet and their ships are strong
the ships have some sort of tractorbeam and are capeble of grabbing a ship and taking it whit them

Facts about the enemy:

-When ever a portal appears high levels of radiation and energy levels are detected

• Their ships are Organic. (Possibly it is better to use biological weapons against them)

Theory:

Apparently the planet is like a mother ship form, possibly it is of orders to others, if this is true, if we manage to finish with their "Planet", we may end up with them.

This "Race" could have a collective mind, possibly the "mother ship" controls them to bring food, this would explain why the ships do not attack, just drag to the portal to the ships.
