An FAQ would be nice so he doent have to respond to all comments. But the mod isnt actualy that complicated. Use sandbox mode and try the things out until you start to play.

I tried all the weapons and they all function properly. All can be placed and used. But you need only 2 guns to one shot every ship you encounter. Not even shields are needed lol

lukeskywalker456 i was wondering if you could make it so in the item description it tells what cockpit you need for it as to make it easier when trying to place items. Since it is not always the cockpit in that tier that you need for the item

The cockpits are partly a temporary solution. It's not worth it since this could change depending whether I can find a better way to implement the mechanic. As a temporary measure look at this:

When ever my ship uses the phaser beam and I'm not completely zoomed out, it crashes the game.

Lenny Thank you. It is a known crash partly related to zooming. The error in the part of the mod has not been found yet nor in the effects. It randomly crashes for some reason. The "phaser lance" and "neutral particle beam" are experiencing the same problem. These are the only problems known.

When I want to put something from your mod and I'm dragging this on my ship we can say Sm.Plasma it's red but I have crew acces and it's not on porhabited area, same with blueprints

For a quick fix you can go to "Cosmoteer\Mods\Abh\phaser_lance", open "phaser_lance.txt", in that file find "&/PARTICLES/PhaserEmitSparks", it's on line 257, and put "//" in front of it so it looks like this: "//&/PARTICLES/PhaserEmitSparks", save it and reload the game. Now when the lance fires it won't crash your game regardless of your zoom level (I think didn't get to test it enough). But for now it works for me.

Lenny Thank you. Frankly there's nothing wrong with the code of this effect either. Right now only Walt can trace it back to the source with his programming tools.

RG-4113 The numbers have been calculated to match with the other weapons. So I'm reluctant to change them. The main reason for the problem is that weapons cannot use two resources, hence, energy has to be drained constantly. It appears the turret uses a lot less than it should thanks to a type. I'll leave it be until the game supports consumption of two or more resources. These weapons are 10-1000 less powerful than reality already. Reducing them more would take away their true scary nature imho.
