jbox1 This response is received by the mercboard which is a drone as well. The response seems to glitch out the board, which joins the side of Drones by sending its previous tasks, functions and assignments to the drone that responded.

Depending on installed Precept and Task the Mercboard will attempt to perform Task by using the means listed in Precept. Drones acquire previous Precept file which allows the user to scan locations for FTL traces and jump to ones with most traces.

jbox1 The Mercboard receives an alarm from both Offworld planets as a part of its hard-coding. It informs nearby drones of a threat to Hawkorp as a whole and Offworld's leaders, including N.

After the drone finishes this speech, it sends coordinates of Place of First Boat and MF-Pl, again as a part of hard-coding into its OS.

DocSlime Although it is against drone moral to attack ships without provation, they will help other races in need. 8 Fighters and 24 Defender drones warp to the location.

jbox1 As the drones arrive, they immediately notice an alarm coming from MF-Pl. The alarm lasts about 5 seconds and immediately stops. The alarm was triggered by a terrified miner which was later executed by the assassin. However, coast looks clear, and it is safe to proceed into MF-Pl. Transmissions are blocked as the communicator was wrapped in foil by the assassin.

DocSlime the Drones command their defenders to search the area for the assassin, without putting any mainframes at risk. In the meantime, they attempt to do some “maintenance” on the transmitter (if it is accessible)

jbox1 As the Defender proceeds into the cave, its thrusters become slightly damaged, however, it is enough to stop it from safely ascending back. Another hit wounds another thruster, and Defender descends even faster. It ultimately rolls into the parking place, weapons and core still pristine. A miner notices the arrival and sneaks past others already either threatened or brainwashed by the assassin and offers the drone to be placed in the frame, which is a box for the core armored enough to withstand many stabs on wheels which are barely armored. Miner also silently points at a box with goods that the assassin seemingly asks to copy and upload into Hawkorp research facilities. The box is large enough to contain the drone frame, which can potentially stagger the assassin and murder him.
Any attempts to contact the transmitter both from the parking space and outer space fail, as if contact was incorrect and no such transmitter exists.

jbox1 Defender has crashed in the parking space in the mining facility. A miner asks to get Defender in a drone frame which is a box on wheels and dispatch the assassin with the drone.

jbox1 The Defender is successfully transported in the communications room, where the assassin opens the box, and at that moment one of the miners jumps. Defender jumps as well, bruising the assassin's nose, allowing N to successfully knock him down and beat to death with the drone frame.

jbox1 Brainwashed miners just started raising their picks when they saw laserfire. Everyone nearly synchronically dropped weapons and jaws. N quickly regained awareness and ordered Defender to dispose of those who tried to attack their ex-friends. Shall the Defender obey?

DocSlime ... no. The defender (or at least the one controlling the defender, defenders don’t have an AI module and so relly on other drones to control it) does not do anything.

jbox1 Seeing the lack of response, traitors begin whacking others' skulls. N had enough time to charge his fine laser pistol and terminate a miner, before ejecting an AA battery, grabbing another, vaporizing another head and ejecting another battery. Not so numerous traitors were shocked (literally) and dropped their picks, one way or another. N as well as the Defender Core boarded the Nullifier project, successfully flew out of the cave and powered shields, one by one to decrease damage to surroundings.

Hello, Drones. Since you managed to overtake our Mercenary Board, we wish to pay a visit and retrieve it. I will personally come in a civilian ship to avoid unneeded occasions.
Transmission end
Adun locates Mercboard in Drone territory, moves most political crew and a few bodyguards on a GoCo-4 and jumps away right from a closed hangar to avoid notice. The hangar's door is, obviously, blasted away at near-light speeds, before hitting an Offworld Scout in its path. GoCo-4 is slightly damaged, but armor mitigated most of the impact.
Offworld loses another Scout.

jbox1 As Adun arrives and scans the Mercboard, he quickly notices missing Precept and Tasks. Of course, he is angered by that, but he came for another reason. Since Hawkorp was extremely close to certain death, they instead try to relocate and base in Drones territory, under the excuse of losing the Board. He quickly and laconically explains that to the closest Drone.
