Canoneer You have no idea how painful this is...

I am litterally navigating a file 459 lines big, just to tell a missile launcher it's supposed to file one missile, not three

Bubbet Although I did splice together some in-game sprites, it is an original sprite I guess (as far as overlaying the laser innards onto a PD laser and turning it yellow can be called 'original')

Bubbet I would like to suggest a small idea. I wondered about your wire parts in your placeholder mod, and I thought that you could possibly make logic gates. For example, a not gate could use some alternative ammo types that counter-act each other, or you could make a secondary weapon that will remove power from the next wire link. An and gate could use up power too quickly so that it needs two wires powering it. Or gates are simple enough. This mod would not be for gameplay usage (it would make no sense, and be over powered), but I think it sounds like a good addon for the placeholder mod.

WOHO! I DID IT! Featuring my best sprites yet, I present new automated weapons for all your drone needs. Oh, and also we are now in Beta! Special thanks to @Jesus3747 for some of the sprite work, and also to @ZyerFire for the support on his Discord mod lab server! Also a special thanks to all of you supporting the mod to make Drones ++ great again! (Well, it was never great in the first place, but your making it greater!)

+ Added Automated Ranged Offence System (Auto. Gun)
+ Added Automated Missile Launcher
+ Added Automated Cannon
+ Added a sensor dish to the top of the Controller
+ Added new part descriptions to make them easier to understand, and more user friendly
+ Added doors to all drone parts (excluding drone cores) for use on regular craft
* Fixed the Large Drone Core (again)
* Changed part IDs to avoid conflict (may corrupt some ship files!)
* The Transmitter is now known as the Controller
* Realized there is an unintentional coconut in the mod.
- Removed the old drone laser from the part definition files (You won't be missed XD)
- Removed Dropbox download, Drones ++ will use Mediafire exclusively from now on.

As for 0.5, I will be completely overhauling older parts, re-doing their sprites and also possible bug fixes, and other issues!

Great Mod Jbox Gonna Use It For My Faction (ISF) scince it's a balanced and neat mod which just let's you makee drones and the weapons aren't wierd or "New" to the game Besides for the Faction i have no ideas for ships so drones would be cool

Minion222 As soon as I made this mod, I wanted it to be as balanced as possible. I spend at least an hour on a par balancing and tweaking it to perfection. I am glad you like it!

Drones dont neccesarly mean unmanned, just some are (sorry)
Drone cores seem notorioulsy difficult to use in large ships
Why isnt there a drone laser?

Wait, I thought a drone was meant to be unmanned...
Just use more drone cores, or use the large varient for more range. Drone cores were designed to be used on small ships anyway...
There was, but it was replaced by the drone gun. The drone laser was mearly a re-coded laser, and was there for experimental purposes. If you want, I could make a new drone laser, with similar functions to the old drone laser, but it’s own textures?

Using Drone cores in nearly all of my capital ships, it´s easier to use than reactors (in my opinion at least).

Drakador_Chaos There’s my problem, the ability for drone cores to act like more efficient crew members is kind of an exploit of the system. I wish I could make it more advanced to avoid these exploits, but I have to work with what I have got. Either way, I am glad you enjoy the mod!
