Great Mod Jbox Gonna Use It For My Faction (ISF) scince it's a balanced and neat mod which just let's you makee drones and the weapons aren't wierd or "New" to the game Besides for the Faction i have no ideas for ships so drones would be cool

Minion222 As soon as I made this mod, I wanted it to be as balanced as possible. I spend at least an hour on a par balancing and tweaking it to perfection. I am glad you like it!

Drones dont neccesarly mean unmanned, just some are (sorry)
Drone cores seem notorioulsy difficult to use in large ships
Why isnt there a drone laser?

Wait, I thought a drone was meant to be unmanned...
Just use more drone cores, or use the large varient for more range. Drone cores were designed to be used on small ships anyway...
There was, but it was replaced by the drone gun. The drone laser was mearly a re-coded laser, and was there for experimental purposes. If you want, I could make a new drone laser, with similar functions to the old drone laser, but it’s own textures?

Using Drone cores in nearly all of my capital ships, it´s easier to use than reactors (in my opinion at least).

Drakador_Chaos There’s my problem, the ability for drone cores to act like more efficient crew members is kind of an exploit of the system. I wish I could make it more advanced to avoid these exploits, but I have to work with what I have got. Either way, I am glad you enjoy the mod!

jbox1 Well I suppose the limited range is a balancing factor, a reactor can be basically put anywhere, Drone cores need be near systems and if they´re gone and there´s no other core nearby that whole section is basically dead. But you probably want more than that,

jbox1 I Have a way to make only the AI parts powered by the cores, just make a new power source whichlooks like the normal power, but is used only for AI parts and maybe the controler for drones that can steer other drones, but yeah thats one way it would make the cores less op. What do you think?

Minion222 That´d be a way to do it, but it´d lower the compatibility with other mods and vanilla.

Minion222 Drakador_Chaos The idea of the drone core was to be able to make fully customizable and multi-functional drones that are compatible with other mods. Making drone cores only power certain parts would defeat the purpose.
