kieffer5101 I probably should be writing these ideas down! I think the Scavangers have this unique niche of being far less serious than other factions, being both ready to go, and rediculous at the same time! (We poked the eye with a stick, that was Jack’s first response!)

Tim decides to see how it responds too him, and grabs an ancient figit spinner he had bargained for from the terran alliance, and throws it in front of the blob

The blob absorbs the fidget spinner, then spits it back out. Amazingly, the spinner begins to float into the air and spin.

Tim is rather surprised, for Jack hadn’t been able to grease the rust out of the wheels of the figit spinner in a while... oh and the fact that it was floating in thin air right in front of him

Tim decides that this thing may be related to what happened aboard the ship, and assumes that it may be hostile, unless...

Tim goes to the ship’s fridge and finds the most edible item (a sandvich) and sees if the blob would like it

Unfortunately, it seems that there is no fridge on the ship and the most edible item is a military ration. And that is FAR from edible.
In his search, Tim does find the coffee machine. It has a note on it.

Tim had managed to forget about the slime... thing... and head home for food

As soon as the jump was complete, Tim realized that he was not alone.

Tim: Gah! Not you again!

As per standard protocol when an unkown object is found aboard a craft, Tim must put the offending material (the slime) in an isolation chanmber, and remain in his ship for 3 days, He will get delivered food via drones.

Tim: what luck! Now I have to stay in space for 3 days thanks to you!

Turning green again, the slime watches Tim curiously.

Tim remembers the files, the “super weapon” only attacked after he was forced to go against his will. Like a bear torchered in a circus, once he was free, he revolted. Tim knew he had to tell Chain, and did so
