QuantumRK cool I won’t be able to show it till tomorrow but here are the basic rules I want you to follow
1 no mods ( not even super armor )
2 it must have at least as good of a fire rate
3 don’t add more than 4 ion , 3 rockets , 6 thrusters . Same thing for removal .
5 don’t stress if it does not beat the original flat out . I have made many models trying to beat it.
6 do not exceed 100x100
7 cannot exceed 2 mil more than original ( I will prefer that you keep it below 3 mil but that is not completely necessary .
8 you must tell me how to download ships.....

Rewards: I am making a PowerPoint in comp lit about why you should download cosmoteer and I am including anybody who sends ship designs and/or lets me use their vids/ photos
so school wifi is a bi*ch and won't let me use ship designs so nvm about the reward

HEY QuantumRK I was wondering if you had any free time ? its another project, its a medium ships but not a big build ? it just needs tidiying up and stuff cause I kinda messed up and if you need refrence for what youre thinking just search up ECLISPE DREADNOUGHT in google images? if you have the time

    MrLeftHand so the way you download ships is quite simply click and hold the picture drag it to cosmoteer contest and it should pop up make sure the game isnt paused though the way I do it is by pressing the Windows key and with the whole 3 mil thing I'll try and keep it in that range but if it needs to be efficient that might be difficult depending on the original ship

    nathank21 due to the lack of top down images I cant help you here and also I'm here to upgrade then not design them I have no problem making a few design features but if this is the case I might as well start from scratch. If you want to make the base shape and I'll upgrade it from there

      again. if you cant completely beat this model thats okay. Its more of a challenge then a true need for improvement

        im also thinking of a concept rocket spam ship. it will work similarly to pyrimid peices and ions. a long line of rockets funneled through a small opening like a cone. it will be long enough that they will come as one giant blob

          MrLeftHand The closest to concentrating missiles in a small area I've seen/built is a U ship.
          (for example see the ship of mine that Mc2 posted a bit earlier in this thread https://forum.cosmoteer.net/d/2489-upgrading-your-ships/246)

          Missiles don't turn that fast so to get a higher concentration of missile would probably require a ship that is bigger than the 100x100 build grid.

          @nathank21 heres my executor class dreadnought it took 2 hours and its a pain in the ass too paint but I did it. it doesn't really move at all and its really inefficient but aesthetically pleasing and is my new favourite ship 🙂

                    Equalizer we have two separate ideas. Your ship demonstrates the most efficient fire rate ( which is completely op btw ) , while my ship will demonstrate the most constant and extreme turning of a rocket

                      MrLeftHand Might work, I had inconsistent results with forward fired missiles generally not wanting to turn soon enough to avoid crashing into a front concentrator. It could require a very gradual angle for it to scale up to a large number of launchers.

                      Also ship turning or speed changes tend to cause problems however if you only care about it working when the ship is not maneuvering it probably is much more likely to be possible.
