
I'm pretty happy with the swarms fighter, it's probably my most successful design.
That said, I'm open to suggestions. I'll probably swap in the new laser once I get home, and it has some issues with rotating despite the large thrusters and engine room. I'm not quite sure what's up with that. It also doesn't do all that well against missiles, but I use this in multiples of three and they normally empty their tubes on just one of them so it kinda works out. Still, I'd like for it to be better but I'm not sure what to do other than replacing guns with PD.

In its own class the rails ship can beat up whatever it can catch and can run from most stuff that can catch it. That's the idea, anyway.

The brawler is just plain hard to kill, but I know it can be better. It's an older one of mine that I compartmentalized, rather than being a ship built around some solid compartments, and I think that shows.
Overall I've only just started paying real attention to my crew to gun/factory ratios instead of winging it, so I'm sure there's a lot of optimization I can still do.
