Ship Improvement Thread

GarryGarret If you haven't looked at this yet, do that first.
The only other things I can think of (that aren't listed there) are A: Treat your rails like ions. (see guide) They will work the exact same. B: Get rid of some factories. You only need 1 ammo factory per railgun, and see here for the ratios you need when using cannons.

I will also make my own Re-fit version. Hope this helps!

GarryGarret With files on the forum you just drag them into Cosmoteer (in creative mode). If you try to download them they won't work.

Oneye That's weird, when I download files from the forums it works fine for me. You just gotta make sure you put .ship when you save it

culanns_hound It is just easier to drag it than to edit the name.

culanns_hound there may be an issue with quality, so if you could please re-upload the blueprint it should fix the issue

culanns_hound excellent work on the re-fit. I am very impressed, and thankful. While you were working on your refit, I made my own, as well, its cheaper than yours, but only has 1 rail gun.

GarryGarret I tend to like having two railguns because it is easier for me to set up the reactors

GarryGarret I thought that too, but then it beat the Archangel first try... but I know the reactors, ammo Prod/storage, and crew quarters are all horrible.

Alpha-Dog I think your main issue is streamlining your interiors. If you did that your ship would be good. But if you added maybe a few small cannons and some EBs then you'd be golden. For a ship of that cost, weapon diversity is definitely a good idea

Still needs some work but its the best one so far. Still not finished with the internals, but currently, it beats the gatecrasher, The Cerberus, Archangel, and the Crescent Wrath. Not saying much I know, with their intentional flaws but its better than before.
