Within the Curos system...
The ADL fleet is pushing its thrusters to the limits, seeing the hopelessly outgunned Stalwart-Class and N-Class defending Curos sending out volley after volley attacking the warlord's fleet, both of missiles and guns, attempting to defend their nation.
"What's the estimated time of arrival?" Aio'ne shouts, not exactly understanding volume.
"We have them in sights. Should we attempt to fire off the LRMS?" a notoriously itchy-finger missile operator requests.
"How long will it take for our reinforcements to arrive? Especially the Interdictors." Aio'ne again shouts, irritating basically everyone else on the bridge.
"Sir, it'll take a while. We could send some fighters out, but bets are off on their effectiveness." the flight commander, who holds similar authority to the admiral, replies. She then moves over, slowly, to the massive console which shows the hangars and observes the fighter-bombers being equipped with as much anti-ship ordinance as they can carry, pushing the wings to their absolute limit for structural stability.
A massive thermal reading is detected from the Curos station as the defending N-Class get destroyed, nearly to the ship, as the sole Stalwart-Class is taking heavy fire and calling for all reinforcements which are in reasonable range.
The several Ocino-Class, all armed to about 70% of their max load, begin opening their VLS tubes, prepared for the upcoming engagement. All Gauss cannons and Casaba howitzers are being charged across the fleet.
Onboard the Viper-Class. mass numbers of interceptors are being assembled and armed to similar levels of strain to the fighter-bombers onboard the Furos, engines spun up and ready to launch with great speeds out of the great catapults which give the Viper-Class its horns.
In a nearby system...
The call to arms being sent out from the Curos system has been heard across this nearby area, with 3 Arsan-Class, 8 Akule-Class, and the sole Swift-Class deployed outside of the "Nest," which is what the enlisted men call Cunicule, being assembled to jump and support the primary assault.
"Of course we're under Aio'ne's command...a boisterous and enthusiastic man, but not the smartest. At least he isn't completely incompetent." commander I'kote laments, whom is aboard the Akule-Class ship "D'kala."
