As the UNSC ships exit slipspace the GBE fleet exits next to them after just a few seconds after with their signature thud. The enemy ships detect and the fleet and scramble their crew to battle stations. Their ships start arranging into a defensive formation as an Amalgamation-class and a Nova star destroy hastily disconnect from their dockyards. Shuttles with supplies loaded under their bellies make last-minute runs into the hangar or docking ports.
"Jump went smoothly. All systems are green. Commencing firing patterns."
The GBE railguns start firing their shells and recoiling while TIE long-range weapons start to begin firing back.
Missile targets locked. Missiles away.
As the UNSC fleet leaves finally exits slipsapce in formation, streaks of missile fire are seen flying towards TIE ships as missile trails cloud of the vacuum of space. The main supercarrier which sits in the middle of the fleet can be seen firing its dual Super MAC system at the largest of enemy ships and those small enough to be caught in its trajectory path. The smaller vessels burning hulks can be seen on view cameras as they burn. The larger tie ships are either pummeled with caved-in hulls or been shot straight through from the devastating power from the Super MAC. The cruisers and other normal-sized carrier's main MAC guns lay waste to the TIE fleet or seriously damage ships.
Little bastards upfront, big ones in the back
The ships that survived the initial barrage from the UNSC offensive line are quickly attempted to be dealt with. Looking at the fleet analysis and ship positions on any bridge within the fleet you could see the destroyer Menagerie DD-698 rushing towards the enemy line. A slight breach of the original plan but the destroyer was keen on taking out as many ships as it can.
Longsword pilots into launch tubes on the double
From the main supercarrier, hundreds of Longsword interceptors and other single-occupant fighters such as Broadswords or Scythes can be seen flying to intercept enemy fighters. The large size of the interceptor would be a terrifying sight to see as it races towards you.
The single occupant fighters hang around the fleet as they play a very crucial role in dogfights. Tie fighters streaming from the TIE lines meet these ships and are slaughtered. The fragile basic Tie fighters streaking towards the UNSC line like a swarm of insects are picked off by broadswords and the numerous AI computer-controlled point defences each ship has.
Only a handful of the broadswords are lost due to being overwhelmed by multiple targets.
Out of the smaller UNSC ships only a few are damaged with lasers penetrating or wearing down the heavy armour plates these ships use.
"Friends are family."
UNSC ships work in coordination with other GBE ships as they lay down their infamous railgun shell and nuclear missile barrage. The fleet cheers as they watch viewscreens as GBE pilots who are all-natural aces swarm and take on anything that is thrown at them.
