The silvery-rainbow craft was certainly anything, but something that origin's could've been easily deduced. The technology onboard appeared relatively simple, except a few or more interesting pieces of technology, which for some reason, the scanning vessel was not able to clearly read. As for the other machines onboard, if one were to explore enough they would surely find some kind of a counterpart to them.
More fascinating, however, was the lifeform onboard. It was some kind of an extensive, widespread, and immensive mass, that covered most of the spaceship's interior. A Noticable thing about it was that from the interior, there was a lack of proper radiation shielding, which would've resulted in severe, and deathly radiation poisoning, if it was humans, or any other similar beings onboard.
Anyhow, whatever it was inside the scanned craft, it was not observed anywhere before.
