This is currently a compatibility version for Cosmoteer 0.15.11. It's a progressive version.
Due to the need to advance toward a the steam release version as soon as possible the mod is being released in smaller steps while adjusting to the many changes happening to the game. Frankly, the mod is lagging behind so adjustment don't happen as fast as in the past. Not to mention the game has plenty and introduces plenty new bugs.

Known issues with 0.15.14a

  • higgs_field_singularity_core: mass change has no longer effect. It appears the game no longer adjusts to stats changes. This might affect other similar changing/variable parts.

Known issues with 0.15.13a

  • game bugs: burst, emitter bugs are affecting some weapons. Not much point to fix since the mod's code is correct
  • shield crash on loading savegame has returned despite the fix for 0.15.12. This game bug is too fickle.

Known issues with 0.15.12b

  • torpedo launcher's mine mode broken for unknown reasons
  • the 37mm gatling defense turret becomes unable to fire after unloading the first load. Likely some game bug with the game's new hold fire mechanic.
  • demolition bomb crashes sooner when surrounded by armor; unknown cause; probably particle effect overflow over time or similar
  • shield bug on loading savegame : has been fixed
  • game bugs: burst, emitter bugs are affecting some weapons: gatling_defense_turret, ball_defense_turrets, Flex Hybrid turrets. Not much point to fix since the mod's code is correct

Known issues with 0.15.12a,b

  • Game bug with lasers bouncing off parts instead of reflective armor only as set.
  • mine dispenser1 (tracking mines) due to the new fire hold function of the game, for some reason, launching etc. are randomly working. It's unclear to me where the problem lies.
  • cosmo torpedo launcher: for some reason the torpedoes are not visible in auto mode. But otherwise works fine.
  • laser reflective armor is broken for vanilla laser and beams
  • grapplers can no longer get hold of a ship or object if they don't anchor into an existing hole.

  • recent game changes to fix bouncing with antibullet to prevent them from penetrating parts has led to a new bug of them bouncing when hitting parts. This applies to laser

  • unknown (new?) beam bug has forced the ECM suit to use an alternative that's not how it's supposed to be. Sorry.

    • I've unlocked the ECM system which consist of the ecm_suit and ew_control_consoles. The consoles are part of the compound bridge system but do not require a command chair. The ecm_suit does require at least one ew_control_console. You can buff the ecm suit slightly with antennas; and groups of ew control consoles give a slight buff to speed. However, due to a new unknown game bug I've put in a work-around which doesn't work as planned.

    • Added ring drive thrusters. These are alternatives to previous designs.

    • Added bar-cable-structures. These are alternatives to the teleconnect part for low tech. It's cheap and very fragile. I don't have plans to add more shapes. I can automatically change somewhat.

    Abh 0.7.2.8 WIP0t

    • bio_alary: due to the removal of the so far laggy bio part's buffing (lifeforce and regeneration) it was necessary to add this heart-type part in order to pump life into the ship

    • unlocking long time projects that were in doubt but renewed interest and requests as well as able to reuse sprite: siege_gatling_cannon_med; revolver_laser_cannon, and leap_railgun


    Abh 0.7.2.8 WIP0

    • more Space Battleship Yamato parts: wave motion gun, wave motion engine reactor
    • culture universe parts: culture mind, culture line gun, culture gridfield
    • new special LOVE missile can be fired from the shock missile
    • demolition bomb: a specialized bomb for scuttling and tactical use; ongoing fine tuning
    • ongoing stats changes to thruster to adjust to vanilla's changes since the beginning since nearly all never got a change so far.

      • deflector/regenerative/SIF shields now offer choices for setting their angles and if needed fixing their distance by -1 to close possible gaps. BH savegames can cause loading failures. In this case use the previous WIP0 version to recover and resave. Then using Abh 0.7.8.2 WIP2 might be able to fix this.
      • smaller 1x1 warp coils, expanded on warp coil graphics & lights for aesthetics, including crew job coloring
      • impulse drive/thrusters include crew job coloring

          Abh 0.7.2.7 is primarily a compatibility version but is only half updated due to limited time.

          I'll keep updating the mod toward current code base but as is it can take a long time.

            I've uploaded bugfix, minor qol version for 0.15.11a. There's no difference so no change in version numbering. I'm running out of numbers at this rate. 😃 So make sure to delete the old one first so there's no confusion.
            Game bugs listed in the first post affecting mods are still there.

            Anyhow, due to problems with uploading to mediafire I'm trying out hosting sites with file management and stats control so the links can change any time.
            As usual I will post about updates when they come.

                I've uploaded a language fix that was fixed last year but somehow only2-3 files got it. And a missing sprite. For some reason it was a failed copying as it was in the backup.

                          I'm having issues getting the mod downloaded at all. When I click on either of the 2 links on this page it tries to open the link, but just sits there loading without actually doing it.

                              Can't Download. it just says "To download this file, please visit the download page : https://gofile.io/d/DxX2bF". and when I go to the link, it just loops and say the same.

                                P0key123 It works fine for me even with 2-3 ad-blockers. Probably some setting of your browser preventing access or missing some features/functions. Try a different browser.

                                  I've uploaded a temporary hotfix early version: 0.7.2.8 WIP0t to address pressing crashing issues.
                                  Due to the nature of this early release parts are partially in the process of updating. They do work but stats wise are not in their final version. Please let me know if you find or encounter problems.
