There was another moment of tense silence, which seemed to stretch to eternity, until it felt like as if ther beasts were to just rip the ship apart any moment...
...then the moment passed, the voice continued bringing a feeling of a somewhat arrogant amusement with it...
"Not too long ago, before you had witnessed our voice the first time, the Prophecy was free to attain for everyone who ventured into the great darkness at the center of this galaxy. There was no risk, no loss, alas, the mortals in their ignorance were blinded by their own internal squabbling, ignoring the signs and in the end nobody ever finished the journey. If even one of the mortals had achieved the Prophecy, this would not have happened. But it did, with time, the great hunter came to us, he spoke of anger and we heeded his call, he looked for a Prophet and we took on the mantle, he asked for violence and we complied to his wishes. Thus the mortals have to pay for their ignorance, the Prophecy will come to them this time, but they will pay the price."
The voice went silence for a quite a while after this, the beasts at the border of the arena kept observing the ship.
"Now, what is your decision mortal? Will you sacrifice? ...or will you bring your sheep and fight? There will be no bargaining."
