As an RP'er I'm generally against faction that base themselves off too heavily from existing IPs. So I recommend adding your own twists and turns to it to make it more unique. In the end, how enjoyable to interact with your faction comes down to how you portray it in Roleplay, so I look foward to seeing how it performs.

(Also, not critizizing though "several hundred planets" is a bit too big for a newer rp'er like you, a common number of systems is around 1-30, and i dont see several hundred planets as a managable or even likely number in that.)
(also, the reason for me suggesting to start off really low to probably what you want is that rp here is kinda a fun group thing, no-one is supposed to be "the best" and powerfantasy has no place here, so start low, expand as you go and get more knowledge and expirience, and please remember that change needs to happen from time to time, if your faction is wayyyyy to over-powered at your level it will come with bad rep and if you're willing to change, good. If not, well, no-one's gonna rp with you :/)

(shortly said, be willing to change and expect to start off weak since its then easier to manage and learn without coming with out-of-character consequences and in-characer consequences.) 🙂

Three sleek ships with vibrant golden, orange and blue markings on their darkened hull emerge from an FTL jump. One seems to be a more sizeable cruiser-like ship, and the other two seem to be fighters.
They soon send a hail:

Greetings. We are here in behalf of Galactic Lihr and Mhertz, a M.I.S.E.-Based Megacorporation, here to solve all your technological needs for space warfare and welfare! We wish to speak to someone who we can conduct trade with.

A few days have transcurred since the negotiations with one of the powers that be, the M.I.S.E. In these days, the communications through long-range qcomms haven't stopped. With this essencial and untold part of the process, the construction of the commercial satellite/station and the respective Musavian/UEG Embassy on both sides has undergone problemless. The MISE's architecture and engineering is costumarely large and brutalist, intercut by swift traces of green towers architectural principles, undercutting the grey of the brutalist philosophy, both utilitarian and beautiful to the lizards, as the greenery and and ample spaces of the brutalist-green buildings treat their biology well.
Through the trade station, GL&M wishes to offer their deals once again to the UEG, with the opportunity for a better negotiation.

The territory of the UEG was relatively peaceful at the time, as they were not involved in the war that recently broke out.
As it would soon show however, this peace was treacherous, as many mysteries still remained shrouded in space...
On that day, observation posts across the territory picked up something quite peculiar amidst the background radiation, only for a brief moment the galactic plain seemed to almost...
...tremble?
Following this there was a silent but distinct whisper, lasting only a few seconds, then, it was gone again.
This 'whisper' disappeared as quick as it had appeared and the reason as to why it came to be in the first place remained a mystery, yet, something felt wrong, likely only time would tell what.

ONI On the edge of UEG space a suppossedly lost UEG trade freighter is reported to be docking to one of the larger trade ports of the empire, claiming that they found a new form of exotic performance enhancing medicinal that allows users temporary super-human strength, agility, regeneration, and intelligence.

ONI near the orbit of Earth's moon, beams of light appeared from a small rift in time,dancing erratically and expanding the hole bit by bit. Once the opening was large enough,a massive shining form emerged from within the darkness of Purgatory. The being was circular,with smaller rings inside it resembling a gyroscope. Large spikes poked out from it's sides,some lit by flames,some glowing a deep blue and most of the outer surfaces lined with shiny black rocks acting as armor. After fully exiting the rift,a small chunk broke apart from the being and moved closer towards the moon.

suddenly, a medium-small ship appeared on the borders, it was clearly a black ship of the Akyratés, though without any signal light on. It was likely a Nightwing class corvette, though that may just be a ship similar in appearance to that.
