There must be a way to secure their position more. They had already built two feats of great engineering, surely that’d keep everything stable for a long period of time. They had amassed impressive ammounts of knowledge and firepower, put inumerous failsafes, both secret and not, in the case of disturbances against the meticously planned nation and corporation. Seeded worlds far away with treasuries of knowledge in case rebuilding was a necessity, yet they never truly escaped the grasp of the two visitations that happened at the earliest point of their history.
Even mother nature’s efforts they could twart, build obelisks that’ll last throught the ages, materials and notions that escaped the grasp of understanding to others… however, not to the two visitations. Luckly for them, one of those was gone, simply dissapeared from the radar of the galaxy, the other… not so much.
As such a solution was to be found if they were ever to expand their powers beyond their current setting, escape any kind of impediments that could come to their harm. If there was such a being as the one that currently threatened them, surely there must be others like him, and perhaps even stronger. So they must become stronger still, and for now, prepare to fight fire with fire.
And what better place to start than at the center of the galaxy. Through the usage of the Galactic Integrated Infrastructure Grid, they could perform reasonably precise almost galaxy-wide monitorings of natural phenomena, plotting out an enormous map of certain activities to be sought after. Using the experimental Psychic/Soul Sensors and the Dimentional Sensors around the 27 installations of the grid, they found out regions of importance, focal points of anomalous activity within the galaxy. The largest one and thus, the most important, is the center of the galaxy.
Large images stretch wide, and then stop at the point of close proximity of the dark anomally. The stretched images snap back into location, and quickly power up shields and other measures.
In particular, there were 14 figures. Namely, 5 C-3 Direct Force, 3 D-2 Indirect Force, 6 D-1 Drone Strike Force. Each of the forces are within their own coordinated group, however, the leading overseer of the group is located within one of the D-2 Ships of the Indirect Force, all of the ships contained Musavians trained in the Anomalous Research Force, which, despite its seemingly scientifically-oriented name, was everything but combat inneficient.
“Spread out on a non-aligned pattern. I want three flares out from IF on a triangle around the object, keep the drones undeployed and try to keep them within shielding, we don’t know what type of wide-sweet weaponry any potential enemies can use.”
The Point-And-Line Matrix encoded qcomm message was sent out towards the rest of the fleet, which scattered in a way to not allow for fragmenting objects to hit multiple units at once, using the gravimetric shielding that the military MISE ships sport.
The Lizardman in command, Teciro, sat within the Indirect Force ship’s interior bridge. The ship swerved with the rest of the three Indirect force ships, their autoloading triple spinal mounted weaponry focused on long-range bombardment sounded off with the gravitational lenses, launching a large missile-like object at immense speeds, which after a few seconds started glowing brightly and flooding the place with signals, which fed into the attentive sensors of the ships.
The Indirect Force and Drone Strike Force ships were fit with Metric Tensor, Psychic/Soul and Dinensional Sensors, as well as the usual Sensor suite of Infrared and laser parallax. They listened to the sensory feedback of the flares, whilst they scanned the place, not looking for anything in specific.
