gZip error when trying to put ships from discord into the game.

Whenever i download ships from Discord and put them into the folder, i go into cosmoteer and open the ship library but it isn't there. I tried dragging it from the folder to my game but i got the gZip error. Anyone knows how to fix this?

ComradeShiba Huh, that's weird. Are you sure you are putting the ships in the correct folder? (It should be Documents/My Games/Cosmoteer/Saved Ships). Also, try dragging the ships in from file explorer once downloaded

I only use the same account. Also, i put that extension on my ship.

Check file name format like name.ship.png and check account access permission. For example if you use a different account than the one the game was installed for then the game might not have the rights to access the new files saved with your account.

ComradeShiba Gzip is pretty much standard and windows should have it by default. So either the file is corrupted or for some reason it's been prevented from being unpack like by an antivirus?

Sometimes Discord will compress the ship files, corrupting them. I'm not sure why that happens (and it seems to only happen to some people), but you can usually work around it by clicking on the image in Discord and then clicking "Open Original" to open the original file in your browser. Then drag it in from there.
