At the end of the room theres a coil structure which seems to be containing something....

(Because it’s superior in nearly every way requiring absolutely zero raw materials instead relying purely on draining energy from entire suns to transfer into raw materials to be assembled into complete ships )

(Not quite. The Star Forge just lifts matter from the star using tractor beams. While they may be able to do this on other planets, being close to the star has a few advantages, namely you can gather a lot of energy and matter from it's outer atmosphere, and it's only problem left is to transmute that hydrogen into usable material, but that is relatively easy in comparison.)
